In the UK approximately two million vehicles every year reach the end of their life; here at Combellack’s it’s our job to process these vehicles in the most professional and ecological way possible.

That means before we even begin to break any vehicle down we assess it and if it is repairable we will send it through our salvage auction so that it can be put back to use on the road.

If a vehicle is not considered repairable it will go through our eight-step process starting with depollution, then anything useful is removed and finally ends with crushing.

Depollution

Every vehicle undergoes full depollution. All fluids, batteries, tyres and other environmentally harmful materials are safely removed in accordance with UK regulations to prevent contamination and protect the environment.

Recycle

Once depolluted, recyclable materials are identified and separated. Wherever possible, serviceable parts are removed, tested and resold to extend their lifespan and reduce environmental impact. Remaining materials are then separated and recycled, ensuring maximum recovery and minimal waste.
