End of Life Vehicles

Around two million vehicles per year reach the end of their life; here at Combellack's we process these vehicles in the most professional way possible.

Below, you can see a detailed diagram of how the eight-step process (from Depollution to Crushing) is carried out...

1.Depollution Every vehicle is depolluted, removing all fluids, batteries, tyres and any other items which could have a negative environmental impact.
Stage 1
1.Depollution Most items which can be recycled are removed at this point.
Stage 2
1.Depollution Dismantled vehicles are stored on concrete surfaces until crushed.
Stage 3
1.Depollution To ensure correct model selection, most parts are removed from the vehicle at the point of sale.
Stage 4
1.Depollution Fast moving parts are removed and kept in storage.
Stage 5
1.Depollution Parts are packed and despached same day, whenever possible. So where ever you live we'll have it at your door the following day.
Stage 6
1.Depollution Unwanted parts are picked off and sent to the shredder.
Stage 7
1.Depollution The remaining vehicle is then baled, ending its life at Combellack's as a small cube.
